Dear Winter Park Babe Ruth Players and Families,
On behalf of the Winter Park Babe Ruth Board we are excited to now open the Spring 2021 registration. Please join us again for hopefully a full season this coming year of Spring Baseball and Softball. With COVID-19 this past year we have had to navigate through all the conditions and safety concerns we all have. Yes, we were able to have a Fall 2020 season and we had good acceptance of the COVID guidelines this past Fall which helped us to continue to play ball in a safe manor at Ward Park fields. Yes, it was with a few reminders to coaches and parents, but overall, we were able to make the season happen and we have learned a lot to make the Spring even more successful and safe during these times.
Please spread the word to your friends and family that registrations for Winter Park Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball are now open, and it is important to register early as we need to determine the numbers of teams and coaches we will need for the teams. We will continue with our COVID guidelines and work to enhance them were necessary. You can see those guidelines on our website under NEWS.
If you are interested in volunteering as a coach, assistant coach, field helper, fundraiser for sponsorships or anything else that you might like to help with please go to the volunteer link on the website and fill out the information. Everyone that steps foot on the fields must sign up as a volunteer and pass the background check.
Here are the important dates for the Spring and they are also on the website:

P.S. If you have played in the Spring and Fall of 2020 you may be getting this email twice. Just FYI.
Dear Winter Park Babe Ruth Players and Families,
Season has had one full week and we are started on your second week. So far, with a few reminders to coaches and players, we have had good acceptance of the COVID guidelines. We need to continue our efforts here though.
We have hired Massey Services to spray the dugouts picnic tables and concessions areas with a disinfection & antimicrobial prevention treatment called Bioassure Treatment. This is an added step to our guidelines that are listed on the website under news on the home page. This will happen every 30 days as it lasts around 45 days.
We have also signed up for the RainOut app that you can sign up for with this link http://www.rainedout.com/ Or you can go to the website on the home page and get the link there. This will let everyone know when the fields will be closed due to weather issues.
We have also have an apparel link on our website called Squad Locker that is on the home page as well. You can get varying WPBR Logoed merchandise there. If you want your team specific apparel you can go to Foskett Sporting Goods 407-658-0594 3225 Curry Ford Rd. Orlando, FL. 32806
Lastly, we have an online ordering opportunity at the ball bark for concessions now. You can order while watching the game and they will text you when your order is ready. Here is the link/QR Code for you to use.
This will be helpful for lines at the concession stands.
Thanks everyone for your support and the items with Squad Locker and the Concession stand also help support the league with portions of the purchases coming back to the league.
Have fun, Stay Safe and we will see you at the Ball Park!
Brian Crews
WPBR Board

Have a great safe Fall Season!
