WARD PARK FIELDS and FACILITIES

Field Status

New Season

Please make sure to use the fields
during your assigned practice/game times ONLY.

If you are not going to be using your scheduled time,
contact your commissioner and let them know
so that we can release the field.

Field Comments

Status of all fields is shown to the left.

Please keep the well being of your players and facilities in mind when deciding whether to play in the rain.

Lightning:

  • Leave the playing fields immediately upon sighting lightning.
  • If the lightning alarm sounds, move all players, coaches and parents to their cars.  The alarm will sound again when it is all clear.
  • Please Remember: None of the structures at Ward Park are considered lightning shelters.  Do not wait lightning out in the dugouts.  When the alarm sounds, move to your automobiles.

If you are practicing on Friday evening, you will need to either stay off the clay, or you will need to rake the infield clay, particularly at home plate and the pitcher's mound, and then re-apply the lines to the field.

And please remember that the City Ordinance states that we cannot be on the fields, on Sunday, until 12:00PM (Noon).  Neither team Managers, nor Division Commissioners can override this regulation.
